Practice in Clinical Psychology & Neuropsychology
Dr. Domitrovic is a registered Psychologist in the province of Ontario with competencies in Clinical Psychology and Neuropsychology, serving adult and geriatric populations. She completed a post-doctoral fellowship in Clinical Psychology and Neuropsychology in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Norwalk Hospital, a Yale University affiliated teaching hospital. Since 1999, she has been, and remains, licensed to practice Psychology independently in the state of New York. Dr. Domitrovic was also licensed and practiced autonomously and in good standing in both Connecticut and Iowa, first as the staff Neuropsychologist at Neurology Associates of Norwalk and then as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Neurology at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics (Department of Neurology - Benton Neuropsychology Laboratory). Her practice includes neuropsychological assessment, psychological assessment, learning disability evaluation, independent medical examination and various interventions (i.e., cognitive behavioural, supportive and mindfulness-based psychotherapy; cognitive rehabilitation; patient/family education) for individuals presenting with diverse neurological (e.g., traumatic brain injury, stroke, neurodegenerative syndromes, such as dementia and multiple sclerosis), neurosurgical (e.g., temporal lobectomy, deep brain stimulation), medical (e.g., chronic pain, cancer, Lyme disease), psychiatric (major depression, anxiety), and developmental (e.g., learning disorders, ADD) disorders.
